"This hotel is excellent! It is extremely clean - carpet and all. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a great hot breakfast every morning for free! The location is great for getting around, even walking for great food in the area, grocery store, Dairy Queen, Tim's next door and souvenirs. Please bring back your pool/hot tub, as I have missed it for years - yes, I am a regular!. Thanks Team Canalta!"

"I love this hotel. If you’re travelling east from Calgary or the mountains, it comes after a long stretch of rolling Alberta hills and seems to pop up out of nowhere at the Oyen junction. It’s always super clean, the rooms are spacious and clean, the linens are crisp and fresh, and the pillows are awesome. They advertise a continental breakfast, but it’s actually a full breakfast in a small buffet set up. They even have a waffle maker and a choice of toppings. If the bacon were a little bit, thicker, I’d be raving about the breakfast, but it sure is nice to have a hot meal in the morning before you take off down the road. I’ll be finding excuses to stay here as often as possible in the future. "
