We did not get a refurbished room so everything in the room was dated but we did get a big, beautiful balcony with a fantastic mountain view. Air conditioning was great! "This is a sweet alpine hotel set atop the hill of Sinaia. The rooms are large, and it is worth the extra to get a room with a balcony to sit outside beneath the pine forest; and some rooms have a view of the valley. Modern bathrooms and showers, coffee and kettle. Overall fairly quiet on a summer weeknight.
