"My family stayed for 4 nights right at the summer solstice. The location is amazing, you're walking distance to just about everything in Reykjavik. Once we figured out how to park & pay via app, it was always easy to find a spot close to the hotel and not pay too much. The suite was plenty big for the 4 of us, the room was clean and cute, and the staff was always very friendly."

"The pictures are different from the actual hotel. 5-7 buildings are scattered around the area so make sure to know which building you are in. The dryer took over 2.5 hours and still didn’t dry so we took it to the nearest laundry mat. The staff are very friendly."

"Hard to get used to the 'contactless check in'. No humans around. The apartment was adequate, but there were a few things that should be addressed. I needed to iron a dress, and, yes there was an iron, and an ironing board that would sit on a table. Except that there was nowhere in the apartment where I could plug in the iron and use a table for the ironing board! I would have to rearrange the apartment. Also, the outlets in the bedroom were only accessible by crawling under the bedside tables....

"The Swan House is in a good area for accessing everything in Reykjavik. The apartment and neighborhood were quiet and the host was so helpful with prompt responses to emails. Lots of pubs and good places to eat within a few blocks. Convenience stores were also fairly close."

Important things to note: - The apartment we stayed in was on the STREET side of the building, therefore it can be pretty noisy at times. "Free delicious breakfast with all sorts of options: eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, beans, breads, danishes/donuts, fruit, pickled vegetables, etc. The spa was delectable. Definitely get the upgrade. Beds were springy, but comfortable. Orange hotel cat was a bonus. What a cutie!"

"Great location, central to many spots and 100m away from a bus station for excursion pickups as well as airport transfers. Beware that there is no elevator in the adjacent building where we stayed on the 3 floor. Also there was some significant water damage on the wall that did not look good. The dish rack was broken.
