"The room was clean. Staff was friendly. I didn't eat the breakfast there nor did I park."

"The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the lighting in the room. There were only small lamps for lighting and it made placing and locating small items very difficult. With the drapes closed, the room was very dark."

"The parking is down the street in a lot. It was very easy to get in with the door code given. It was also very quiet and had a cool atmosphere."

"Sparkling clean. Everything we needed was there for us. The floors were clean however we did feel a slightly sticky film. It could have been some leftover cleaner because the floors were clean."

"The hotel is old with nostalgia. There were no amenities specifically for AlphaKappaAlpha as our 5 day convention was going on. The hotel can really use more upgrading. There was no complementary breakfast and I was told we should go next door to the Fairfield hotel for that. The food on the rooftop of the Elayton was very good. Over all, I give the hotel 3 stars. I was a little disappointed because the hotel did not honor the AKA convention rate and it was not worth the cost. "
