"We enjoyed our briefly stay at the Coral Reef Hotel. The room was dated and 80’s vibe but when we pulled back the curtain and stepped out on our lanai on the ground floor we knew that Kauai’s ocean, reef and beauty would be ours for 2 beautiful days. At last minute we had to extend our stay and the staff was very accommodating and did not make us change room locations. Aloha spirit"

"Our room was clean and quiet, well minus the roosters, but they are everywhere on the island. The Inn was comfortable. They have live music 3 nights a week. They have a really nice pool area. You really can't beat it. No resort fees. Breakfast every morning. Friendly staff. If you have a rental car you're close to everything. They also don't have a parking fee. You can walk to restaurants and bars about 15 minutes or so away. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Great location and beach access. Friendly courteous staff. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The building itself is a little tired and could do with refurbishing but for our purposes, we enjoyed our stay. The only need for improvement would be the food options. Very limited and very expensive. We ended up driving into town for meals. It also would have been nice to offer beach chairs and snorkes for rental."

"We were pleasantly surprised with the room and would return again. We stayed on the 1st floor so parking was right there. And free! The room was upgraded and clean. Would have liked a mini fridge in the room, though. Accessing the room via code was very convenient. Great location and easy to stroll over to the cafe for yummy breakfast."

"From the moment I arrived the ISO looked nothing like what i booked at all. There was no table to set my things or wifi in my room and even at that the cable didn’t work. My bathroom had cockroaches so it turned me off immediately. I don’t recommend anyone book here unless it’s the last option."

"There was a lot of construction going on. I didn’t read anything about this when I booked. Had I known I may have chosen a different location. The room didn’t really appear clean. I didn’t have any glassware or any other cups to use other than the ones for coffee. Yes we got two cool take home Outrigger logo water bottles but for the price per night here I expected more. Also the rooms are not cleaned daily which is also a turn off. Like I said if I am paying more than $500 a night there should...

"Best place to stay n Kauai , clean , kind, best pool near great restaurants, beautiful beach ! Great location close to Lihue Airport! The grounds are outstanding well maintained!"

"Condo was old and dated. Parking limited but generally no problem finding a space. Not a smart TV so couldn’t connect to Netflix or cast to TV from phone. Never could get cable TV to work despite trying to follow written instructions. Location convenient to getting around island and airport."
