"The one bedroom unit we had is fairly spacious for two with a balcony. The decor is rustic with good taste and quality furnishings. It truly is ski-in-ski-out with Red Dog lift right next to the property. Even though Red Dog — and the entire KT peak — was closed and the lower mountain runs were unskiable due to the unseasonable heat wave while we were there in mid March 2026, the base to base gondola and funitel tram are within walking distance. "The staff people were great. The food at the restaurant was great, the drinks even better. It's like staying at the pub in the Cotswalds country side, which was cool. Unfortunately, the rooms left a lot to be desired, especially at the price charged. The very, very squeaky bed, the windows with a ton of street noise, the shower/tub from the 1800s, which I thought was a period piece harking back to the pub idea, and essentially no friills everything.
