"Great spot for quick night on the road. We had the double room…. Very large. No elevator so if you have big luggage stay on ground floor."

"The hotel was very sketch. The beds were uncomfortable. The ac was very difficult to operate. When turned on, but it didn’t maintain the temperature without adjusting every hour manually. The staff was nice, the pool table area was nice. The sheets and towels were stained like they don’t use bleach. It just seemed very old and run down. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel."

"I loved the architecture and history of the hotel and the lobby and grounds are beautiful and inviting. The historic photos, documents, articles and art are interesting to study. My room was charming and comfortable, and the wide hall reminded me of plantation homes I've visitied in the deep south. I had dinner at the outdoor bar - food and drinks were great, bartender friendly and fun conversation with other guests. Location is fantastic across the street from the the Glenwood Springs pool...

"This was a surprise find. We found this gem while on the road. Absolutely the best location in beautiful Glenwood Springs. Boutique hotel without completely draining our pocket. We were able to walk and experience the town for the one night we were there and enjoyed a great breakfast out on the sidewalk cafe that is part of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend."
