He is welcoming and approachable should your have questions or need anything. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. Balconies look out over the river. "We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great."

"Very good deal, breakfirst included. The hotel is walkable from Regua. There is another one bed, ideal for family with one kid. Room id very clean insideout, the staff is friendly. Only thing to mention, check in is strict, but there is locker for luggage storage. I am very happy with everything."

"Way up on the mountainside with a beautiful view of the valley and the Douro River. Valeria is a wonderful host and the place is truly something special. The beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms fantastic and she thought of every detail. "

The food was superb and a true farm to table experience. The property has a lovely orchard and vineyard, a great kids play space and charming relaxation spots. Will be back! "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Francisco was the best -very friendly, great service, and fantastic recommendations for dinner, boat tour, and other quintas to visit. It was nice to meet the owners as well and talk with them about the harvest season. Will definitely recommend and will come back the next time we’re in the Douro."

"I was never able to get to the hotel due to road closures caused by flooding in the area. The hotel never communicated to me via any means before hand. I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark. We were lucky to eventually drive out of the scary dangerous roads. A refund request was denied by the hotel. While I understand the policy, I don’t understand why the hotel never...
