"The staff are very helpful and pleasant and make you feel very welcome. The room was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is a little out of town, however the food in the hotel is excellent and has a wide choice, with a reasonable selection of vegetarian food, so no real requirement to go out. "Very good value for money. Initially a bit apprehensive as I was staying alone with teenage son and our room was right at the entrance to the bar on the ground floor. It felt very safe though - staff and locals using the bar were all very friendly and there were no problems with noise at all. Clean and comfortable room too. The bar area has a nice atmosphere too.
