"Very welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was a newly refurbished one on the 5th floor. Very clean and fresh looking, if a little sparse. No tea and coffee making facilities. Good shower although water pressure not great. Easy parking in on-site car park £10 for 24 hours. Good location. Didn't have breakfast. Would stay here again"

"Where do I start! We stayed here 4 years ago and it was marvellous.it was thriving ,busy, Bustling . This time when we arrived we was told check in your car else you’ll get a fine ( great fair enough.) Then sign in and il take a card off you just in case your room gets trashed! Wow! We’re in our 60’s definitely not rock stars, id rather watch telly than chuck it out of the window! The chap then said it’s so busy here because of the bank holiday ( Monday) that the dining room may not have space...

I prioritized locations within short walks from a train station throughout the trip, and this property fit that plan. This was our first time staying at an easyHotel property and we REALLY liked it. Room was great value, and although we had to pay for luggage storage, the staff were very fair in the interpretation of the bag policy and didn't gouge us. "The hotel itself was clean, rooms and toilet room were a good size. Would have been more convenient if the rooms had little fridges in them. Bar and lounge area and the garden were nice areas to sit in. More ice at the bar would have been nicer as well. "

"The room was clean, good bathroom, with a nice shower. The staff at breakfast were very attentive, Cumberland sausages were nice, bacon a bit tough and overcooked, hash browns were good. Our one night only stay was quite acceptable and comparatively good value."

"A very characterful building with old world charm of uneven floors and quirky corridors. Excellent central location for sightseeing with multi story cathedral car park with reasonably priced overnight parking within couple of mins walk. We ate Dinner and Breakfast in the hotel which was very good but multiple options in area including a lovely cafe opposite on Friar Street"

"Overall ok stay for work, close vicinity to event venue. Property under renovation so rooms dark & unable to open blinds. Generally Clean but coffee cup stained with marks after room refresh. Saturday breakfast served very late from 8am forcing people to skip breakfast for early event starts. Weekday breakfast service lacked attention with minimal staff & resultant struggle to oversee stuff - no refills for food & coffee till you found someone. "
