"It’s an older place but really clean and well kept. The room was a good size and had a nice bathroom layout. It’s a great place to stay if you are going to the fair since there is an entrance gate directly across the street. The only non-positive comment regarding our room was that it was literally the last room in the back building next to the back street and there were some noisy trucks that traveled on that street in the mornings."

"Location is excellent 👍. Hotel needs some work. Carpet in the room needs to be removed. It brought down the appearance in the room. The restroom light need to be changed out. The bathroom felt like it was on fire. The front desk woman was very helpful."

"We had booked our stay at Paso Robles Inn and were offered a $96 upgrade to The Piccolo. The upgraded hotel rooms were so nice, very clean, beautifully decorated. That being said, if you stay at The Piccolo, you should know - the lobby is not staffed 24-hours, nor is valet, so it's difficult to get assistance when you need it.
