"Clean rooms"

"We chose this property because it is pet friendly. I really liked the way the rooms were set-up with a kitchenette. The little fridge was great with a small freezer that kept our ice packs frozen. There is a grocery store and other shops across the street. We did not eat the breakfast since we brought our own food."

"Staff was friendly but they seemed understaffed. There was trash in courtyard area in the morning from the night before (beer bottles, food containers) and minimal coffee availability. Front desk staff was helpful in restocking the coffee area. Very noisy (you could easily hear movement in the room above). Parking is limited."

"Not going to lie. I've never even heard of this place until I was looking for a place to stay in Charlotte. Well I went of the reviews and they for sure didn't disappoint! As soon as you are walking to the main entrance you can tell it's going to be great from just how kept up the lawn and sidewalks are. Greetings from staff was almost too easy and only needed my room number, no papers or anything needed to be signed (I booked with hotels.com). When I arrived on my rooms floor it smelled clean, like you know your rooms about to be exactly how it was described. Sure enough it was more than.... The beds are so soft and I bring my own pillows because anywhere I've ever stayed has NEVER had comfortable pillows to me, so when I say these feathery soft pillows (4 of them on a SOFT AND COMFORTABLE) king size bed, just whoa! Don't skip them bc you've not heard of them and take my advice and go with them. I know where I'll be staying no matter what the next time I'm up that way! PS. Pets are allowed to stay too... That was the icing on the cake so to speak 😉"

"The hotel was clean and quiet, front desk very good quick check in and out, breakfast was fresh and hot, many varieties to meals, the only thing is coffee refills were very slow. Otherwise, the entire stay was excellent "

"This property looks nice but in reality is in awful condition. Our first room there was a sliding door out to a patio with 2 chairs. However, when you went out there it was filled with trash and there was a broken door leaning against the wall. It was disgusting. Later that night we tried the TV. The Tv didn't work. Tried calling the front desk, but guess what? The phone didn't work. Tried calling the front desk from our cell phones. All we got was a message saying they couldn't answer the phone. Went to the front desk. They acted like we were crazy. They sent a maintenance person. He was helpful. He said this room is on the do not rent list as they are working on the issues. He went to the front desk and got us a new room. We packed all our stuff up and moved. Room 2 was also in disrepair. The dresser door was off the hinges. The bathroom barn door was not completely attached. The toilet when flushed made a loud screeching sound. By then it was too late to ask for a new room. It was one of the worst hotels stays I've ever had. I'd NEVER stay here again. t check out they didn't ask how the stay was...they knew."

"So this was a staycation because we live about an hour away. We had a guest certificate for the spa and decided to make it an overnight. The spa was its own incident, but just be aware that if you are looking for their “couples massage“ that you have to book 2 separate times. We found out the hard way as there were no indicators when completing the reservation so my husband was unable to attend with me. As for the hotel, it was fine, but did not live up to the expectation based on price and location. The incident at the spa was our kick-off. Since my husband could not join me, he went to the pool. He sat at the bar (no one else was there) and of the 3 attendants working, no one acknowledged him. He left after 20 minutes. Multiple times when we went to sit on the porch off of the bar, trash from previous people were still on tables. Beyond that, everything else was really clean. Another big disappointment was that there was no coffee in the room. There was a note that said you could get coffee in the main lobby. I was not excited about having to dress and go down to the lobby for my regular cup of coffee. C I had wanted to spend a relaxing morning with coffee on our balcony. We dressed and left. The bathroom was OK. We did a balcony room and it was spacious but not worth the extra money. The bed was good. The guy that checked us out was nice. There was a charge on our bill from the pool that was not ours because my husband was never helped. He removed said charge."
