"Decent king sized room. AC was good but no heater. Mini fridge in room. Coffee machine was available in room but the water chamber was not properly cleaned- so did not use. Room was clean upon arrival. Just the tub is pooling and not draining properly while showering. Staff were very helpful. Coming from parking from Scotia Square to the hotel was a bit of a walk and since we arrived late night from the airport, the elevator was locked from 9pm-7am. "Great location for walking around Halifax. Complimentary breakfast was very good, especially having some different options on the second morning to the first. Appreciated being able to check in early & park the car so we could forget about it for 2 days."

"Stayed for a week. Great location - easy walk down to waterfront. Helpful front desk. Beds are comfortable. On the surface, things look ok. But many things aren't working properly & are worn out. Room service brought fresh towels every day & made beds (that's the extent of the housekeeping). As others have posted, parking out front of hotel is a nightmare. There is construction noise starting at 7am but that's not the hotels fault. Lots of construction/cranes everywhere downtown Halifax....

Negative - utensils in the breakfast area needed better cleaning. Had to replace for cleaner ones several times and noticed other people doing same thing."
