Spacious rooms but the sofa bed mattress was VERY uncomfortable for my two teenaged daughters, the worst they've been on they said. Breakfast was good, and it was very convenient to have the lobby/breakfast area Folgers coffee machine with fresh coffee throughout the whole day. Good location within walking distance from the boardwalk area and many nearby restaurants.

Staff were very professional and helpful. Our booking was not straightforward but they sorted it out with a better rate than was originally expected. Cleaning staff were super! Breakfast had many options and hot items changed each day. Plentiful, if you went early or late. Lots of seating. Coffee and Tea available all day.

We booked a suite that allowed for our whole group. Excellent room with two bathrooms and multiples rooms/beds. Breakfast was good each morning. Check in was smooth and happened to be early. Only issue was the key card into the pool room wouldn’t work so that could be annoying. Great stay!

This hotel was very well located and made getting around Halifax easy. The front reception staff was incredible. The breakfast staff is better than any wait staff at a restaurant and make you FEEL welcome. The daily rotation of freshly made food was wonderful. Each day we were treated to wonderful cold and hot breakfasts that were as good if not better than restaurants nearby. There is limited parking so be aware.

Good location with access to the boardwalk but a bit of an uphill trek so be prepared! Room was super spacious ans bed was very comfortable. Only comment is that the carpet could be replaced but the room was great and staff were amazing!

The property is in an excellent location—just a short walk to the Citadel and only a few blocks from the Halifax boardwalk. The boardwalk is a must‑see both during the day and after sunset, with plenty of great restaurants and casual spots to eat. The walk from the hotel down to the boardwalk is easy, but be ready for an uphill return. You’ll find many pubs and dining options along the way, which makes the stroll enjoyable. The hotel rooms were clean, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. They made our stay even better by replenishing complimentary snacks every day, including baked and traditional chips, cookies, nutrition bars, pretzels, sodas, fruit juices, and bottled water. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a solid variety and great food quality. Service was consistently warm, and the staff refreshed our room daily while we were out exploring Halifax and the surrounding areas. In short, thank you for making our stay in Halifax truly enjoyable.
