"This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii."

"Beautiful historic property cleverly repurposed into a cozy inn. Our stay was delightful until synth harp music began blaring from the downstairs living room at 8 am. We have never experienced such a rude awakening and discovered it was set up on a Bluetooth speaker downstairs on what seemed to be max volume as we left - including commercials! If this is their way of making sure everyone is out earlier than the stated check out time I can attest it worked, but can’t recommend it for the same...

"Everything about our stay was excellent, but the best part by far was Tyler, the innkeeper. Kind, attentive, excellent communication and an amazing chef. We loved having breakfast with the other guests each morning, sharing delicious food and stories of our respective adventures in the redwoods. The ocean views are incredible and the bed was extremely comfortable. 10/10. "

"I have almost nothing but wonderful things to say about my week long stay. I thought upon check in there should be some incentive given to gamble. 10 Match play, free slot plays, SOMETHING. Instead I was given a $10 slot play as I was checking out....
Counterintuitive if you ask me. But overall? 4.8 out of 5. I do wish there was 24 food available, or it would have been a 5. The hours the restaurants ARE open, they serve amazing food and really good prices. My room was perfect. "

"The hotel is situated in the very noisy part of town. Basically the back of the building of my room was highway 101. The restaurant next to the hotel made it hard to have a parking spot by our building. "Our stay at the HolidayExpress was great . The room was clean we stayed in the room with the jacuzzi in it and it was wonderful. "Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process."
