"The check-in person was not at all friendly and we had to ask him to repeat himself a few times as he was unclear. The staff person the next morning had no recommendations for breakfast - a common question I would think! The baseboards in the rooms were very dusty especially around the beds. There was garbage both on the pool level and the terrace where there was also poop (dog I hope!) that was also smeared on the carpet just inside the door!

"The location was great, safe, easy access to most things you'd want to get to including the train, and the bus from the airport stops a block away. The staff were friendly and tried to help with any issues I had.
The facilities are nice, with amenities like a quiet room in the chill area and lockable food storage nooks. Some quirks - the doors to the small shower rooms open inwards making closing them potentially a challenge for you, (the shower itself is great). My locker was finicky any time...

"This beautiful old house was near Bell Centre and the Metro. A perfect location for getting to a Habs game or touring around the city. We called the staff when our plane arrived early and they opened the door to allow us to store our luggage because the front desk is not open until 4pm. The rooms are warm and the bathrooms very intimate. The tub was very relaxing after long days walking around Montreal. There is a kitchen for coffee and a relaxing deck to share with the other guests."

"This is a great place to stay for a low budget simple room. I knew what I was paying for and no complaints there. Everything was as I expected, and in fact the rooms are pretty spacious.
