"Amber’s Inn and Suites was perfect for our family on our weekend getaway. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Front desk people were helpful and friendly. It is an older motel, but was quiet and a pleasant place. If ever visiting Wisconsin Dells please consider this place."

"Hot tub was Luke warm at best. Pool was ok. Pictures on the website were not of activities of the hotel we stayed at ie I assumed the hotel had a waterpark on site. My bad for not reading further. Overall was an ok place but good experience!"

"Was not expecting the room to be full of antiques. Chairs were very uncomfortable. There is no closet to hang clothes. Luckily the drum beating across the street ended at 10:30pm as it was really annoying."

"Nice room etc, but staying 3 days ws had some heavy luggage and had to up atsep ataira to 2nd floor.. Juice machine was broken, and juice bottle in fridge was emptied first day and was not replaced, when asked , was told they didnt have any..yet Walmart was right next door. Very pleasant lady behind counter tho"

"The best western in Portage WI is the nicest hotel in the area. Nice rooms"

"Hallways were dirty. Our room needed several repairs. We notified staff, and they knew about needed repairs but didnt offer any compensation, which really should have been done."

"The rest of the guests were mostly long term residents and extremely rude and obnoxious. They sit around gossiping outside short term guests rooms, knock on the door and then run away. The room itself was so dirty, I went and got tapestries and fabric to put over the furniture and used a tarp over the bed I wasn't using and the bedding had holes in it and didn't look clean and felt terrible. One woman stood in front of my door and barked orders at some other people apparently far from where...

"Breakfast was Good Great historical room. Little cold in our room in March. Extra space heater didn't work."

"We had king size room, lots of space!! Quiet, clean, staff was very nice, breakfast was good. Our only issue was with Hot tub. And not only ones couldn't get it to work all the time. We travel with our little dog was dog friendly for a fee. Would stay again next time."
