"Access to car park and car park itself are uneven. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Cannot comment on public areas in hotel as did not use, but reception area is small and dingy and feels very old fashioned. Room 16 (budget single)"

"This hotel is full of character, but the fittings, bathroom, bed are all thoroughly modern, crisp and clean. Breakfast was great, the staff weekday and weekend were very helpful. Dinner was good - the menu extensive enough to provide options for each evening they were there. Ability to park safely onsite is always welcome. The locatio is superb. I'd say top of the grade for a 3-star property. "

"This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly, breakfast was excellent with good quality products…. I didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but the menu is varied and the people I saw eating seemed to be enjoying themselves. It’s less than 10 mins from the A38, through country lanes which makes you feel as if you are a lot farther from the hustle and bustle than you actually are…..a gem of a find and I will be back…."

"Have stayed before but this time we had a two bedroom apartment. As with our previous stays, the apartment was comfortable, warm, well equipped. Yes a bit worn in places. Cooking facilities could be a little better eg. Condition of frying pan, no cooking oil but otherwise everything you could need. Facilities on site are excellent. Adventure golf was very good.
