"We were never informed that its "seaweed" season in July in Key West. We booked a basic room but we asked for pay for an upgrade to the Oceanview room with a balcony when we checked-in. Little did we know, none of the seaweed was cleaned for weeks and the stench coming from their beach was revolting. "My family and I stayed at this place and loved it! The place was super clean, it had like a weird scent at first but maybe it was the seaweed that was rotting around that time. They always came in and cleaned the room and made the beds. The staff was super friendly and helped us check in early, everything was convenient and since the island is small, everything was relatively close. The pool chairs and pool itself were wonderful and always clean! I would definitely come back and I do recommend...
