Good breakfast, including the 'trademark' waffle maker.
We were in a wheelchair accessible room that was spacious but the bathroom had incomplete grab rails and a slightly strange design that would make it much harder for an independent wheelchair user to use the shower - ask for photos before you book to check it will meet your needs."

"Toilet made a terrible noise when refilling, room next door's toilet made the same noise which could be heard through the walls. On site parking was very expensive at £19 a day. Staff were great. Rooms were very pricey."

"Very clean and comfortable room! The one thing that sucked as they had the windows open when we arrived (in February!) and our room was FREEZING and it took quite a while to get it warm. There were great bathroom amenities, although the shower conditioner was actually just more soap when I put it in my hair. I thought I had breakfast included when I booked but was told I did not so we didn't try the breakfast as we found it quite a high price (almost 17 GBP, which is about $35 per person). The staff were not the most helpful, kind of didn't give much direction and when we called about extra pillows (there was specifically a card in the room saying we had pillow options) we were ignored the first time, called 30 minutes later and told there weren't really options and he just brought us 2 more. The location is pretty walkable to York's main sites and there's enough room to pull a car up for loading/unloading."
