We had high hopes for this hotel as it was highly rated but soon we’re very disappointed. Our room was very small (2 queen beds) but pictures on the website made it look like there would be a couch. There was not. The air conditioning barely worked…we had it set to 60 degrees the entire time and the room hardly cooled off. Our mini fridge either froze our drinks or didn’t cool at all. The bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way and the shower squealed loudly. The icing on the cake however was that we never had a room cleaning done our entire stay, even though it was requested each day. We were there for 4 nights and had to ask for clean towels every single day and request our garbage finally be removed. I was told rooms only get cleaned every 3 days unless requested, but when I said we had requested a clean each day it was shrugged off. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to an emergency back home to which we were advised to contact Expedia (who were marvellous by the way). Expedia tried to call the hotel and were told they were too busy to deal with them. It took Expedia 3 days to get through to the hotel only for them to say no to refunding us the one night. The pool was cloudy/dirty and cold and the hot tub was super hot and had sand built up on the bottom. The staff was friendly for the most part. Would I recommend this hotel? Unfortunately not.
