"Hotel was built in 66 so it’s as to be expected. First 2 days we had water issues and no one told us about the shut off. Said they sent out some app prior to check in that I had to use for updates - never knew of it. Walkouts are convenient but be prepared to walk up and down steps anytime you wanna come and go. If you have mobility issues this is not the hotel for you. I did like the fact that beach in the area was not crowded. Overall it served its purpose, it’s a ok budget hotel if you’re looking for a place to lay your head without all the extras. "

"Our room had a good view. If your going with kids, it's a good place. We went for our anniversary week and couldn't sleep for all the noise. Just a bad week to go since some were on spring break. "

"I have stayed at this property several times in the past and it’s just declined in last few stays. This recent stay was horrible. We had to go to local store and purchase cleaning supplies to reclean our room. Also my son and my nephew broke out with bites and hives from something that was in and on the bedding. It was another family complaining of bed bugs. We saw roaches in our room. We don’t complain much so we decided to make the best of the stay and try to clean our room and change bedding to accommodate ourselves since we would be only sleeping in room not spending time in it. We didn’t see bed bugs necessarily but something broke my son out in what appeared to be bites we have pictures of conditions of room. The pool and beach location give it a advantage otherwise I will never book here again "

"The hot tub wasn’t hot. The walls are paper thin. The resort maybe better than the motel across the street. But was not at all What I expected. "

"Breakfast was excellent although redundant as the same things were offered on an every other day rotation. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. The shower from the beach did not work well and the pool seemed dirty every evening. Our biggest letdown was loungers and umbrellas were not included with the stay. Staff said that was a recent change. The parking was somewhat inconvenient having to cross the road to access the garage. It seemed the hotel was crammed into a spot which probably was the cause for parking and the garage shared parking with a shop. It is however within walking distance of many shops and eateries. It is within walking distance of the west pier and pier park. We will be going back but plan to look at other hotel options for the future as this hotel had nothing that stood out from the ordinary so if we find a cheaper option we will go with another choice."
