"The property is pretty old. The curtains were tattered and the bathtub mat was falling apart. The in room refrigerator was broken. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was clean. The facility needs some updating. There were nice places to eat nearby and it was very close to Nassau St. in Princeton."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, We expected a Marriott property to be better maintained. The kitchen cabinet was precariously hanging on the wall, almost falling off! This looked quite dangerous and we were scared to reach in for any dishes. The sofa cushions were old and sank down, making it difficult to sit. The bed was so old and the mattress sank down so much that we were both very stiff when we got up! "We enjoyed our one night stay at the Doubletree on Route 1 in Princeton. The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice view. The cookies were delicious."

"The facilities are very clean and the room was very nice. The breakfast was good not excellent, but good enough to start the day. The only drawback is that we did not know, and there was nothing mentioned in the listing, that there are no elevators and we had a room on the second floor. We are senior citizens, over 70, and this is a major drawback for us on our next visit. If we could of put a memo in the reservation to save us a ground floor room, that would have been great. We spent 9 days...
