"Good location and not far from downtown Newport. We appreciated the free shuttle that went between the hotel and downtown. The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the parking is free, and there is a nice patio and bonfire area. We would definitely stay there again!"

"Interesting place to stay! The estate really is beautiful, and my room was very spacious. The AC was a little wonky but otherwise no issues with anything in the room. Shower and tv worked fine. I saw some reviews saying guests couldn’t get in touch with the staff but they answered me pretty quickly when I contacted them. All in all a pretty enjoyable stay"

"EVERYTHING that was advertised and what it looked like was far from reality. This place looked like an abandoned jail cell. The smell was atrocious. The room was dirty. I don’t care about how much I paid because I paid for expectation. $700 for a “king size living room” hotel space and ocean view?! I DID NOT EVEN GET THE OCEAN CIEW!!!! "For the nightly rate at the average $300 per night, it’s not worth the $ in my opinion. The building is old, floors squeaky, some mildew smell and we were staying in the main building, where the guests registration office is at. In some positive note - Bedding and bathroom is well decorated and friendly staffs."

"Some dead and alive stink bugs had a terrible back ache the next morning from the bed and the couch was noisy the table fell apart on us when we put a drink down but overall it was fine for one night very doable very friendly staff offered water good amount of space. Would stay here again"
