"It is hard to rest, doors make a lot of noise! Take a room far away from the ice machine people doesn’t care what time it is they will go grab that ice and make a lot of noise, kids screaming at all time it was a bad experience ! "

"A very nice hotel. Unfortunately we were in the Victorian Room, which is on the first floor right next to the main reception area and opposite the breakfast room. It was therefore very noisy and we could not sleep, especially after 7am. Thankfully we were relocated to a quieter room after two nights there. Avoid the Victorian Room if you are a light sleeper or like to sleep in. "

Our stay was during some of the coldest weather Newport has seen in years and the room was still nice and warm. The property has a ton of historic charm and still provides a very comfortable stay.
