"Love this hotel because it is on a small kettle lake near the National Park. Our room had a patio overlooking the lake which was great for casual birding in the morning and evening. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Can't wait to see the remodeled rooms and lobby when completed! This is our new favorite place to stay when visiting family in the area."

"This was the second most best up place I’ve ever stayed at in the USA. No elevator and no rooms available on the first floor so my back hurts from carrying my super heavy suitcase up the stairs. "If I could give this 0 stars, that would still be too many. I checked in around 11:45 pm. I'll start by saying yes, it's under construction & it was a disaster. Was told floors 3 & 4 were completed, but I was given a room on floor 2 . There were only 6 cars in the parking lot at 11:45pm so it was weird I couldn't have an updated room. "Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else. The overall condition of our room was poor. The furniture was old and in poor condition, no shampoo was provided (just soap bars), no hair dryer was provided. Worst of all, there was lots of hair on the floor. I requested a different room, but was told that they couldn't approve a room chance withoit a manager present. The breakfast was okay. The whole place appeared to be in poor condition. We will not be staying here again."
