10/10 Excellent
"Very good location for city, clean staff very friendly"
Copthorne Hotel Newcastle
10/10 Excellent
"A great stay and brilliant welcome from reception staff, Nicola. She’s always so helpful and makes arrival such a positive experience!"
Grand Hotel Gosforth Park
8/10 Good
"Room and hotel dated but clean. Pillows (one each) extremely hard and uncomfortable. Mattress hard but ok. Didn't get round to using pool or spa facilities, which do cost extra. Staff friendly and helpful. Booked room only so can't comment on breakfast, but evening meal was very tasty and good portions. Staff very knowledgeable about allergens. Overall cheap, cheerful and would stay again."
Dakota Newcastle
8/10 Good
"A lovely hotel on the river front. Nice and clean with very friendly staff. When we arrived we weren’t told anything, only where breakfast was, but we don’t think it was included so didn’t eat breakfast there. We had a"
Maldron Hotel Newcastle
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel and helpful staff. Had an issue with the sink in our room when checked in (as it would not drain away). Reported to reception and it was quickly fixed. No other issues - great location, clean rooms and decent wifi - good base for seeing the city."
The County Hotel, Newcastle
8/10 Good
"We got upgraded to the new wing into a Jr suit, cool right? Except it was up 48 steps with no elevator access. Sure wish we would have been warned about this. No porters, so we schlepped our suitcases up three flights of stairs."
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Newcastle
8/10 Good
"Good budget option. Small rooms with basic amenities but spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed. More hangers would be better but perhaps you can get these if requested. A lot of noise in the rooms overlooking the street, to be expected due to central location. Reasonable value. Would stay again providing it was reasonable rate."
Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa
8/10 Good
"Visited on a weekend and there were so many different functions going on that it was too busy and noisy. Really not worth the money. Also room was cold and musty and there was mould on the back of curtains"
