"Strict check in time of 3 pm when kiosk opens - then it wouldn’t accept overseas postcode so staff had to check me in anyway. Spacious comfortable room. Enjoyable breakfast buffet - added at extra cost when booking. Convenient location just a short walk to Durham Old Town - Castle and Cathedral. "

"Check-in was quick and easy as someone was at the desk but there were times I would have liked to ask a question of a staff member but there was no one around. I would also like to have had a suitcase stand rather than have it opened on the floor. I don't like to us the bed as a suitcase stand as the suitcase is not particularly clean."

"This hotel is located right beside Teesside Barrage so a lovely area. The staff at this orooerty are so nice and very friendly. The Talpor restaurant and bar right beside the hotel is excellent. The wait and bar staff are so friendly The food is excellent in this restaurant. We will definitely return on our next visit to the UK. We stayed Fiordland three nights the hotel was busy but the guests were considerate and quiet"

"Hemos estado una noche en una habitación con una cama doble y un sofa cama individual, perfecto para 2-3 personas. La estancia ha sido buena, la habitación tiene vistas al río y al puente. Opción muy recomendable para cortas estancias en la ciudad. La atención en recepción ha sido estupenda en todas las horas y dudas que hemos tenido. Hemos desayunado un buffet tipo inglés per 11€ approx."
