"The heating button was broken and the AC unit was permanently running. My room was cold. The room was dingy with rust spots and mold. If one did not shower early, there was no hot water. They promoted a great breakfast but for three days it was sausage gravy with stale biscuits. One day they ran out of eggs and made no effort to make more. Staff was very indifferent to needs of customers. "

"I don’t mind that the hotel is old or under renovation—that’s understandable. The real issue is the staff, who clearly need proper customer service training. I chose this hotel only for its location and to get some rest during my trip. On my first stay, I arrived at 2:00 a.m. and ignored the receptionist’s rude attitude, assuming it was due to the late hour. However, on my return, I arrived at 5:00 a.m. and encountered the same receptionist with the same poor attitude. After waiting over three minutes at the door with no assistance, she complained when I opened it myself. When I asked for water for two rooms (six people), I was told only four very small bottles were allowed—no exceptions—so I had to drink tap water. I was also denied late checkout, couldn’t get more water, and even coffee was unavailable at 9:00 a.m. with no effort to restock. Overall, the experience was frustrating and humiliating. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you expect basic respect and service."
