"The room was in poor condition - cracks in the flooring and the window was painted shut. Insufficient security locks on the door inside the hotel room. A big sign in the parking lot that hotel is not responsible for auto break-ins or theft. Did not make me feel safe. The room smelled a bit of old socks. The breakfast was spartan. The bed and bedding were fine. Managed to get some sleep."

"It was clean and the staff was really nice. We slept there only one night but parking was easy, getting to the room was easy and the check in process was also a breeze. It is a basic hotel, nothing fancy. The AC worked and the hotel provided basic soap, coffee, water station, and a gift shop."

"This place is horrible… The parking was run down and a few homeless and drug users. First room I was given smelled like cigarettes, had dirt all over the floor and had a love roach in the shower. I was able to a new room but that was also dirty. (Its almost like they don't mop or sweep the rooms) The thermostat didn’t work and had no cover plate, lamps had electrical tape holding the wires together, screen were broken so couldn’t use the window. You get the picture, just and overall terrible...

"The rooms were clean. The only issue we had the AC did not work but they brought a portable AC unit in and that worked great. The hotel is a little dated but not a deterrent. There is a large homeless population just down the street. But that is every where you go in Anchorage in our adventures through the city."

"This is an old and established facility. Clean and neat but... very very old. If your looking for a clean quiet place to rest at an affordable price I would recommend this site. You can pay more to getmore... but to crash for a niteand get on with your travels.. I highly recommend this place. We stay here 2-3 times a year based on out travel goals."

"The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the lake and view off our patio. What was odd was check in. We had difficulty finding the front desk. Once we did we were given our room keys and the person at the desk left the property. Other guests arrived after we did and their keys were in lock boxes on the room doors. We did not need any services and the room was large and comfortable, but I was a bit concerned that there did not seem to be any staff around or any type of security - concern...

"Great place. to stay if you're used to occasionally having community bathroom. Some of the units have individual bathrooms, but you have to make sure you book it that way. Great place to stay in Anchorage, Alaska, Especially since you're only really there to sleep because of all the activities. Centrally located easy access to everything in town. Friendly staff self-use community kitchen."

There were 5 of us and we have a “room” with 2 double beds and a pull out sofa but it was actually a one bedroom suite. A room with a double bed, then a double bed and sofa bed in the main room. It had a full kitchen with fridge and stovetop. Everything was clean and plenty of parking but not fancy at all. Nothing walking distance but shops and...

"Too many lights, not enough mirrors. Shower was fine and location was a bit off but close enough if you like to walk. Staff was very nice. On the first floor you kept hearing a door slam."
