"A top notch experience for our four night stay in a one bedroom apt at East Hotel in Canberra. Underground parking was a key consideration for our stay and it worked well ($20 a night). Very pleasant and helpful staff and a great restaurant (Italian) downstairs where we had both breakfast and dinner a couple of times. Fast wifi. "Apartment was ok but not amazing. No dishwashing liquid to wash up and microwave did not work. Most dishes needed rewashing before use. Thin walls so could hear other apartments. Spacious but dated. Did the job but wouldn’t go back."

"We stayed 1 night in a Family room (2x adults & 2x teenages) and my parents in a separate room, it was excellent. Comfy beds and pillows, it was clean and spacious perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fact that parking was included in the price (as we had 2 cars) was the reason for choosing the Brassey. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others."

"Pleasant reception staff on arrival. Room a good size and had a great view over the lake. Would stay there again if in the area. My pet peeve is where the range of pump soap/conditioner etc are mounted in poor locations. It was difficult for me to use the soap dispenser beside the hand basin as it had been installed against the frame of the mirror. It was no deal breaker, just a peeve!"

"This hotel is now getting a little dated. My shower wa pretty old. The reality is that it was cheap to stay here and for the cost it was excellent. I am happy to have affordable nice accomodation. At the end of the day it is somewhere to sleep. The breakfast was dry md pretty ordinary."
