Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Loved our swim up room. Room was cleaned daily and always felt clean. Food was just ok, nothing special but we all found something to eat."

Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"The two pools and the beach were AMAZING! My biggest complaint is that there are signs posted all over that you are not allowed to reserve chairs but everyone does it anyway. We watched people reserve chairs on both the beach and at the pool and didn't use one of the sets all day. The property was always clean and most staff are friendly. The food was ok. We preferred the buffet and room service food over the restaurants. Getting in to one the of restaurants to eat takes some time to understand. They say you only need reservations for 3 of them but they take names down on a list on a first come, first serve basis. All of the higher end alcohol was an extra charge. This included Malibu (which I would argue is not high end, just name brand)!!!
I will say they really push and accommodate their "privileged" guests. Anyone can be privileged, it is just going to cost you more money. This was a little of a turnoff just because we paid ALOT of money for this vacation with our airfare and it felt a little off putting. "

Hotel Riu Palace Bavaro - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"It was great until the last day when I believe I had bed bugs and woke up with bites everywhere "

Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Four great nights spent at Serenade! We enjoyed the swim-out room and the pools on the resort, staff was friendly and the food was great! "

Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Food was great. Highly recommend "

Serenade All Suites - Adults Only Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This place was amazingly beautiful! It’s very close to the airport and bávaro adventure park. The beach was incredible! The sand is so powdery soft it feels like flour! The food was really good and so were the alcoholic beverages! My only complaint would be that nothing was on time as I guess they run on “island time.” Also, there hot tub is not actually a hot tub lol which was disappointing because when the clouds covered the sun and there was a breeze it was cold. Majestic Mirage Punta Cana, All Suite Resort - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Well kept property, great staff!"

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana an All-Inclusive Resort
6/10 Okay
"If you’re traveling with kids, this resort can be quite challenging due to its enormous size. They do provide caddies to help guests get around, which is helpful.
Unfortunately, most of the beaches were closed during our stay, and it was very difficult to find a quiet outdoor space without loud music playing everywhere.
The staff’s service seems heavily influenced by tips. If they realize you’re not purchasing any packages or extras, their interest in helping with your needs or ensuring your satisfaction drops significantly. The concierge encourages you to text them 24/7, but in reality, those messages often go unanswered unless you’re buying something. Service overall felt slow, and many staff members appeared undertrained and barely spoke English.
On the positive side, the waterpark was great, the food was decent, and the Brazilian steakhouse was excellent for a Dominican resort. However, making reservations at the two restaurants that required them proved nearly impossible.
Overall, the resort feels poorly managed."

Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great resort with gave us a lot of value for what we paid. For a family of 5, (3 teens 13,13, & 15), my wife and I and the kids had a great time. The staff is top notch with exceptional customer service. They are very hard workers and will meet your needs to help you with a simple request for a drink or helping you find your way. The rooms were very clean and very nice. We even had a little jacuzzi on the back patio. Our concierge was also a great help and helped us figure out little gifts for our family and making a reservation for Spice (overrated IMO). Save yourself the hassle and skip it. My wife and I also sat through the 1.5 hr presentation that they offered upon arrival and stuck to our "No" at the end to end up with "leisure cash" that we applied to the spa to get a couples massage. All in all, my kids loved the beach, endless supply of food and virgin drinks (pina coladas), pool with 4 slides ("splash zone"). We didn't pay extra for any excursions and felt like we still got our money's worth. There are always hourly activities going on and shows at the theater at night. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. "
