Cottages in East Dunbartonshire

"Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! Would def book again for a large group activity weekend!! "

"Broken kitchen tap, springs hurt your back in the main bedroom, bins overflowing outside which created flies, no Wi-Fi, 1 blind broken in the bathroom, looked unkept and dirty fleece blanket in the loung"

"It was a good stay, little things could have been better. But we made it the best we could. "

"Very unclean and uncared for. Had to have fresh towels and toilet paper given by site manager. Had to clean microwave before use. Hairs in bed. B5 o mattress protectors. Shower smelled badly. Broken blinds in some rooms. Stale smell from soft furnishings. Some main lights did not work or lamps missing bulbs. Many other issues. Report sent to Sykes Cottages and awaiting response. Only stayed because a family emergency and venue nearby or would have left."

"Amazingly helpful & friendly hosts, willing to provide great suggestions for local attractions and assist in any way needed. Set in a beautiful quiet location but still only a short drive to major roads. "

"Overall ok experience, most disappointing pictures did not match the property, property deco 10 years older than photos, no Lshaped sofa, no dressing table, despite a dressing table shown on pictutes (very limited mirrors, made drying hair Impossible in front of a mirror) very uncomfortable beds, overall abut tired and in need of a refresh "

"It was good, It was smole misanderstending about the heating system. "

"Clean rooms and very cozy cabin"
