"Beautiful place to stay"

"Michael and Rosie were absolutely accommodating and wonderful to converse with. The property was amazing, and offered a plethora of history. The breakfast was great, highly recommended. Will try the German cuisine on our next visit. "

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. AC was easy to regulate. They have a large pool (which we didn't use). The main drawback was that there was no hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. There were no clothes hangers or much of a place to use them. I guess people who go to beach areas don't need to hang up their clothes and go to the shower in the nude."

"The staff were great. Very kind and accomodating. The rooms are about what I expected. Nothing fancy but a good place to lay your head. The only legitimate "complaint" I have (if you can call it that) is that the rooms are pretty bright at night. Bring an eye mask. I'm sure I'll stay there again."

"I am grateful for everything,The people at the front desk are nice, family Feeling , the room looked dark needs more lighting, under the bathroom sink there was lots of mold it was black :/ the shower was good , no breakfast , please bring your own towels and blanket to sleep ..Is close to the beach..I like the cats :) They do not let you check out later than 11:00 ;/ when you get to the motel it does not look very nice from the outside, and I felt little unsafe if you have children with you ,...

"This was such a cute chic hotel! Very great for couples or even a girls trip. Great pool, great rooftop, great bars, and great staff!! Definitely coming back!"

"The location of the facility was great! However, the outside was dirty and run down especially for the price. Also, I called the front desk to let them know we would be gone all day but, we needed some clean towels and asked if someone could drop them off. I was told no. We stayed 2 days and only has enough for 1 day. The room had a weird smell when we first arrived. I mean it was an alright place but, definitely not worth the amount we paid."

"Beautiful historical venue, very classy and tastefully decorated. Owner was very kind, personable, and immediately responsive, as well as extremely knowledgeable about the area and helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do. Chef's gourmet breakfast was AWESOME! Excellent accommodations and a great base for exploring Galveston Island."

"The pool was really hot, the drinks were super expensive and they don’t tell you they keep charging your card if you exceed the hold. Spent everyday fighting with them because of all the charges. They did fall off but holding money that wasn’t there’s. Make sure you just pay as you go and don’t charge to the room. Trip was ruined. Spent my time moving funds around and covering the cost of things. I’ve always just charged to the room and settled up at the end. This part was a nightmare and the...
