"The motel is old and not very well kept up. Rooms are small have not seen updates since the 60’s. The carpet smells and there is no insulation so it’s either very cold or hot. It is not close to town at all but there is a shuttle across the street that runs into town. However, the staff is so UNHELPFUL that had I not already known about the shuttle, they would not have offered any information. I paid for my room in advance but when I checked in, she handed me a paper that said I still owed....

"I stayed in one of the cabins. Everything was good with the room. It’s conveniently located close to Acadia. I’ve been here a few times before and will be back again"

"It’s a motel ( nothing fancy) but was very clean. We stayed on the floor level and it was noisy from the rooms on the 2 nd level. Yes I would stay there again. Very relaxed and had chairs and benches outside your room. We could walk to 3 restaurants from the place. Very convenient location."

"Pool closed for cleaning all day. Breakfast was a bit crazy you need to submit an order by 1900 the night before and the were out of many things like eggs and OJ. The rooms are small but cozy. Good location."

"Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. There is a small cafe room serving (in the morning) free...
