Cozy rustic rooms with cable TV, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Very helpful and personable hotel associate. Great for an overnight stop on our trip to Canada!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. It looks just as described. Staff friendly. I think it was very affordable and close to everything we wanted to see. It is a real gem. My only issue was the beach access- we only seen a private entrance to it but we didn’t ask if we were allowed to use it. I would definitely stay again!"

"It is a remote check-in. Because we booked through expedia they could not send the information like they do for people that direct book. Took us a little bit to get an access code. The registration person on the phone was super nice though."

"The pool was not open and specifically asked the lady at the front desk if it was heated since it was outside. She informed me yes it was a heated pool but didn't inform me it was closed when I asked. My daughter was all excited got ready we went to the pool to find out it was closed. The front desk attendant gave us zero information."

"We found the Hotel Earl of Charlevoix to be a gem! Our room was clean and cozy, and the staff was super helpful and quick to answer any questions. The breakfast of hot waffles was tasty, but what really made our stay special was the electric vehicle (EV) charging stations right there. They made our first trip from Central Virginia to Northern Michigan in our EV so much easier and less stressful. Plus, the hotel’s great spot near downtown Charlevoix was a big plus. We could just walk around...

"Our room was clean and pretty, but no coffee maker, no fridge, and no TV. The floor was so far off level we were literally walking downhill to the bathroom. No continental breakfast, and the desk clerk wasn't sure when the restaurant opened on Sunday morning. Beautiful place, but not our thing."
