"The staff was a exceptional. Beach access was great. We only had two issues. One was cosmetic repairs - the ceiling had been repaired and the patched area was painted a slightly different color. They should have painted the entire ceiling. Also, there was some missing tile in bathroom and sloppy caulking around sink. The second issue was the mandatory valet parking. "The Hotel was very busy due to many events going on in Virginia Beach. At first I was mistakenly sent to a room that was already occupied. This was quickly, politely and professionally rectified and I was given a different room which turned out to be more convenient for me. "Clean rooms, very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. The location was easy access to the beach and had beautiful views. We also were able to walk to lunch and for mini golfing.
Unfortunately our only complaint is the town enforced curfew where everyone had to be inside by 9pm. It was no fault of the hotel but it did make the hotel very loud Saturday night (it was quiet Sunday). The hotel itself was secure but we were definitely nervous. "

"I appreciated the free coffee and water however, the hotel rooms were terrible. When I first checked in the TV didn’t work and there was no remote control, the bathroom was disgusting, and the carpet was filthy. The gentlemen at the front desk (he was light skinned with dreads) was very helpful he “upgraded” the room. The upgrade turned out to be just as bad as the first room although the bathroom was clean although the toilet paper looked like it had gotten wet and the staff still put it out...
