"I recently stayed at the Schooner Inn and had a great visit. It's the last hotel, right by Rudee Inlett. The ocean view was perfection! The designated area for surfers is right by the Inlett and you will be sure to catch them on the waves. There is also a small children's playground on that end of the beach. "Very poor customer service. I made my reservation two weeks in advance and expected the hotel to honor my booking. On the day of check-in, my flight was delayed, so I called the hotel and spoke with the manager. I explained that I would be arriving late, and she assured me that it would not be a problem.
When I finally arrived, the receptionist informed me that the hotel was sold out and that my room had been given away. I was told they had tried to contact me but could not find my phone...

"The hotel needs to be updated. The room seemed clean enough, just dated, the safe didn't work, the curtains were falling on one side so the room let light in every day , the AC was kinda loud. The there were two ladies upon check in that were great snd a young man a little later in the afternoon that were all just awesome. The owners really need to update things or possibly a bigger renovation."

"Dirty towels when we arrived, the door never shut fully, only one time during our stay did housekeeping clean out the garbage, stains on the side of both bed frames. Just downright nasty.
However, staff was friendly and helpful so they have that going for them at least."
