"We love this hotel, it’s really world class. Beautifully decorated, amazing staff, we are always so well looked after. The location is fantastic and our room had a lovely view over Parker’s Piece."

"Lovely, grand building, fine interior and set in nice grounds. A bit of a free-for-all at breakfast but good food, nonetheless. Quite a long wait for evening meal to be served. A lovely place but didn't feel quite as exclusive as it looks. We didn't use the spa but people were complimentary about it. Obviously a good place for a golf weekend and also located near to the park and ride."

"Staff, food , spa excellent. Service was a bit slow but food hot, extremely tasty; very courteous and friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy ; Room keys originally incorrectly programmed which was rectified,still very difficult to open door, no lock on bathroom door, heating in room did not work, mattress lumpy and uncomfortable pillows hard and uncomfortable"

"It was disappointing that the spa is advertised to close at 8pm but guests are asked quite rudely to leave at 7:35. That doesn’t really leave any time after check in to use the facilities especially since dinner also ends at 8"

"Great location, we used the Castle Hill car park, that was a 15 minute walk, but cheaper. Before going, I checked that I could leave our baggage in reception and the response was quick and helpful. The rooms were lovely and spacious for the three of us. All the extra’s, like body wash, shampoo etc smelt lovely. Nice to have decent toilet roll. Loved the kitchen with the dishwasher, fridge & coffee machine. Would definitely stay again."
