"Beautiful place, conveniently located. We had a celebration and we were made to feel very special. Only one very disappointing experience at the Spa marred our stay. Hotel offered a free treatment but as we were leaving the next day it was of no use to us. They should have offered refund. All in all it was fun. Loved the lounge, the food at Madhu’s."

"Walked in room wasn’t ready offered to sit in the bar and wait. It was like going back to the 80s Butlins style. Dated hotel nothing warm and friendly and very dated & gloomy reception area was clinical and hospital like! Walked through the bar and out of the exit. Got into car and didn’t go back. Such a shame as had booked for a surprise for my husbands birthday. So dissatisfied. People who say first impressions count well this did and disappointed! Lost the money I had paid! "We had wonderful 2 nights stay at Hanbury Manor. Beautiful historic building with amazing grounds, lovely spa and restaurant. We had a small problem with our room and Courtney at reception dealt with quickly and professionally. And our room was spacious and clean with lovely view. We had delicious cocktails at the bar made by Chris. He is excellent barman and we enjoyed his recommendations.
