"The room was suitable for our short stay, however with such lovely expanse of grounds it was therefore unfortunate that the view from our room was a 12foot high brick wall. The idea was that you order and pay for your meal at the bar and it is brought to your numbered table when ready by the same staff member. "Magnificent grounds, the approach on driving towards the Hall is stunning. It's a beautiful historic building with a very pleasant bar with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds open until 10pm. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely full cooked options and lots of fresh fruit with greek yoghurt and pastries etc .. The room and ensuite bathroom was simple but very pleasant and the bed comfortable. The room although in a traditional house has everything a traditional hotel room would have from the key for the outside door, and room card key. All facilities top quality - only issue was the shower plug was blocked and flooded the walk in shower area. I reported this and they were keen to rectify."
