"We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

"I was denied entry as the booking was apparently not shared with the proprietor. Validation code was not recognised. No help was available and I spent a very cold night ‘sleeping’ in the car. Absolutely disgraceful. "

Great having the fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Beautiful selection for breakfast. The host Keith was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond during our stay. "House was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Was met by one of the owners, who was very welcoming and she gave me my key and some useful information. The room (a small double) was beautiful and looked out onto the main room. Bed was comfy and had a great night's sleep. Only 2 issues, plug sockets are all very low to the carpet and I struggled to use them, as I have health issues. Other issue was the shower. I struggled to get hot shower, with all the buttons and yhen when I did get...

"a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended."
