"One thing I really liked about this place was it’s literally walking distance from the airport, about two blocks away. The transfer company had my flight wrong so didn’t show up, and I really wanted to get to the hotel to use the pool, so I walked, and it was fine. They actually let me into my room early, which was very kind, and let me check out late because I was coming back from a beach excursion and wanted to have a shower. "It's a nice place to stay!! Breakfast is the best, not a lot of options for VEGAN, but plenty of fruits, fresh juices during breakfast. Rooms are nice and comfortable. The lobby furniture is a bit old, and cushions were not as comfortable, but not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend that place. "

"This is NOT a 5-star resort. WiFi is only in the lobby and intermittent at best. Tiny ants in our room and flies on the food. One member of the staff told me rudely to go into town (a 30 minute walk) if I needed internet, that internet was not important to Rapa Nuians. Don’t advertise you have WIFI if it doesn’t work. Furniture is rudimentary and low, and the bed is a mattress on a tile platform. Drapery rods are copper plumbing tubing. It is an island - everything is shipped in and expensive....

"We were well received and treated nicely the entire time. Staff was helpful with issues. Pick up and drop off were very punctual. Could be a bit more available for questions, directions and general guest attention, but when we asked they were responsive and friendly. "We had a good stay. The staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room, which was one of their newer, better ones was stylish and comfortable. The biggest complaint is that there was a lot of noise from barking dogs and crowing roosters in the immediate surroundings at night (this is probably common at many other hotels on Easter Island, which has a large dog and chicken population). "Bit of a mix up with the airport pick-up. Although I emailed my flight number and ETA (and received a reply) it hadn't been noted down. Profuse apologies. Ground floor room was basic but clean. Sitting area outside was a sun trap. Small pool was clean and sunny. Safe worked ok. WiFi had intermittent internet connection (but so does the whole island). Breakfast was adequate.
