The staff was really good, it felt like coming home to grandma’s house, as it is true to its name: Grandma’s house, where you are treated with kindness and love. The place has a family feeling. You can see the photos of the family in the main reception area. Maria and Javiera greeted us with warmth and explained the history of the house.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. As they only serve breakfast...

My stay at Hotel Ohana was nothing short of unforgettable, and it is hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived in Rapa Nui, the experience was seamless, starting with their prompt airport pickup.
The absolute highlight of the hotel is the incredible staff, especially Valentina. She welcomed me with a beautiful smile and fluent English, explaining the island map and hotel operations...
"Expectations for hotels on Easter Island are adjusted accordingly due to location. Rooms and furniture are dated, but clean and well maintained. There were a couple of mosquitoes in the room, which is understandable as the hallways doors to the outside are alway open for fresh air. After our first night, we kept the air conditioning at the desired temperature when we left for the day - instead of turning it up a few degrees. This helped reduce the mosquitoes upon our return. "I loved this place. The staff were really nice and helpful. When Gustavo picked me up at the airport, he drove me around town so it would be easy for me to find myself while walking around and he helped me organize all of my tours. I would for sure stay here again."
