"Great place to crash on a long road trip"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. When we checked in after the posted check-in time, we had to wait in the lobby for a room to be cleaned for us. I’m not sure if they lost our reservation. Carpets were disgusting and trash behind the furniture. Cleaning staff were kind and helped out with towel service. For the price of the motel, breakfast was okay. Finding a cockroach in the bathroom on our final night was disturbing."

"Very uncomfortable, as a 6 foot 300lb guy I felt unsafe. Inside of the room kinda felt like the backrooms. No bugs but I also didn't risk sleeping under the covers."

"This place is a jewel in the city of Chewelah. From start to finish it was a real pleasure to stay at this place that has been a landmark in Chewalah. I was taken care of with care during a time when many were being evacuated due to fires. Thank-you & well done!"

"The only downside is that their office closes at 9pm. I got delayed in traffic and didn't realize that I was potentially screwed. When I got there, my call said that the answering service was not set up yet. WOW !!!"

"I had to evacuate from the forest fire in Spokane and this was one of the few places available. I just want to preface and say that I am very grateful to have a place to safely stay. But this room was not as clean as I’d hoped, The floorboards were covered in dirt and the shower was filthy and had hair and grime all over the mat that was in the tub, and grime along the sides (but since I was only there for a night it was no issue for me). Overall though the room was fine and the bed was clean....
