"It is a convenient hotel right in the airport and the bed is comfortable. The shower head was spotty and the automatic room controls were hard to manage. The remote for the TV was not functioning properly. The room was otherwise clean and quiet and nice to stay for one night before catching an early flight."

Nous y sommes restés une nuit et grâce à la consigne à bagages nous avons eu une belle journée à Londres sans bagages à trainer avec nous. Je le recommande."

"Excellent hotel close to Gatwick. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean and food available in the bar area downstairs at good prices (£12 - £15 for a meal). They have a shuttle bus which goes around the local hotels and takes you to Gatwick for £4 per person. It goes every 45 mins or so."

"What a great place. Really well appointed room and lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend. "

"The only negative item to state was that the postcode via google did not bring us close to the property. I walked along the road for a few hundred metres, reading the various house signs before finding the property on a dark, unlit road. I just think some sort of indication should have been given as to the precise location. Apart from that, everything was 5 star."

"Dusty room in areas. Rubbish behind bedside cabinet. Couldn’t get to plug easily to charge my phone as it was behind the cabinet and when pulled out there was thick dust and rubbish behind it. No deep clean for a long time. Dirty windows, old cobwebs around it. Pool was not in use so very disappointed as we had stayed there for this reason. "

"Stayed for business. Great location, easy to find via maps and ample secure parking. Easy check-in process and room was pleasant with good facilities. Lovely addition of free parking & breakfast via Expedia. Quality breakfast with plenty of options, fresh coffee and juices. No complaints and would gladly stay again if needed."

"Like myself, not everybody has satnav. The signposting to the Comfort Inn could be improved. However, once you know the spot, it's a good one with several travellers' services on and around the premises. The building, bedroom and bed were clean and comfortable. I spent three nights; one morning breakfast was from a short wish list, the others were from a self service buffet. Good, but as a vegetarian I missed the tomatoes. Ample parking space in front of the inn."

"Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality."
