Inns in Eddy County

a lovely self contained site with outside amenities and close to restaurants. the main draw was Carlsbad Caverns which are an amazing natural phenomenon

Stopped here for one night and glad we did so. Huge storm arrived with us and the hotel was the perfect place to relax and wait for the storm to clear. Big room, great staff and unexpected but welcome delicious free breakfast. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or fitness room, but looked good.

On arrival we were greeted and checked in swiftly and professionally. The room, however, was not the one we had booked originally, after a call to front desk, and Tommy the GM, intervention we were allocated another room. Matthew, who has recently started at the hotel, helped us with our luggage, and even arranged and brought a microwave up to our room, he was pleasant and nothing seemed too much trouble. Nice hotel with great staff. Decent room, shower and large bed all good. Noisy AC but normal for this type of hotel I think. There's an okay restaurant next to the hotel and a Walmart next door.

Stayed two nights, friendly and helpful staff. Too bad the swimming pool was under maintenance because I would have loved to take a swim.

Friendly staff nice room

The hotel was good and the staff were fine (we didn't really have much to do with them apart from at check-in). We were visiting the Carlsbad Caverns and the hotel was at the wrong end of town for the Caverns, most of the restaurants and food shops - there were some fast food outlets nearby (MacDonalds, Subway etc). Most restaurants seem to close on Sundays so if that's when you're in Carlsbad you may have to make do with a Domino's delivery or a hamburger etc from one of the chains.
