Very friendly staff, pet-friendly, and convenient to Carlsbad Caverns. One thing to be aware of is there is just one restaurant nearby and it’s only open 8am to 3pm. Everything else is in Carlsbad.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. You can't beat location, right outside the entrance to the cavern. Carlsbad is 20 miles away which adds significant time when going to the cavern or Guadalupe Mountains.

This hotel is the best place to stay if you are visiting Carlsbad Caverns National Park or Guadalupe Mountains National Park. You do have to drive into Carlsbad to eat dinner as there is nothing near the motel in White's City. It was extremely quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was just grab and go - cereal, fruit, coffee and packaged muffins - but that was fine with us and really very adequate. The staff was very nice and friendly. If you are looking for luxury, this is not for you. But it is a very nice, locally run motel that is just what we were looking for - a place to sleep in between adventures.

This is the only game in town and the hotel nearest to the entrance of the Carlsbad Caverns National Park. It is a good hotel experience. It is a traditional two-story park at your door motel. Rooms were about $100 a night. The breakfast was disappointing just cereal and packaged muffins. Whites City has limited offerings with just one restaurant with limited hours. You could stay in Carlsbad about 30 miles from the park and have many more options.

A great location for Carlsbad Caverns National Park as well as Guadalupe Mountains National Park. There is not much around the property but we got what we needed in Carlsbad for a 2 night stay. Microwave and mini fridge were helpful. The room was spacious and the area was quiet. Great night sleep there. The staff who ran the office was very nice. Humble breakfast with cereal and muffins plus juice and coffee. We were especially glad to pick this location for the access to the bat flight program which happens after the park closes. This saved quite a bit of time back and forth. 30 mins from Guadalupe also made it possible for us to hike there 2 days.
