"This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again "

"The room was nice and the amenities fine, but it wasn't exactly the warmest of welcomes when we checked in -- and then we didn't get to properly check out because the whole hotel was locked up, and the owners had departed, so we had to unlock the outside door to get in and drop the key in a key box! "

"Really enjoyed our night in the blue bell , lovely room and a very comfortable bed. Very nice meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast in the morning what’s not to like so when we find ourselves hiking in the area again we will definitely be looking to stay a night or two in the Blue bell"

"A small room with double bed. Very clean. Hospitality tray very well supplied. Bathroom with bath with shower over. The staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent evening meal. The room would have benefited from a bedside lamp reached from the exit side of the bed. "

"I went down for breakfast at 7.30....a bit later than I usually would, but everything was closed. I tried calling the number on the front desk but didn't get an answer. The room is decent but the bed was very hard."
