"I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. We could have put up with having to search for someone to check us in, the dirty carpets, battered dirty paint work, incredibly slow service , being made to feel an inconvenience for having dinner ( food was nice when we eventually got it) and not...

"Lovely clean property, slept 5 people, very warm and cosy in a lovely quiet location on a working farm. Had everything we needed and more, owner was very helpful and generous. Great lication for waljs and visiting surrounding areas within short distances to travel."

"The room was very big and spacious. It was very clean and came with en suite too. There was a back door to the car parking area, which was a nice touch to load/unload your cases. The bar was nice with seating areas for food in the evening, just like a restaurant. The food was exceptional in the evening and at breakfast. The service was too. Staff were very friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it."

"On arrival the staff were very friendly we were on the first floor and there was a lift which is good. Our room was a great size and very clean but no Air con so was very hot even with windows open. Bed was a great size and comfortable. The room was very quite no sound from other rooms. Didn't like the bath had no hand rails to get in or out if you wanted a shower and the step into it was quite high there was shampoo but no conditioner and no bags for sanitary pads. Dining room was lovely and...

"We stayed one night at the Tempus. The decor was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the food was very good, and the staff were friendly. The problem with the place is style over substance. While beautifully decorated and large, the lighting in the room was a nightmare. There simply wasn't enough nor was it in the right places. The wet room was even worse. The mirrors were not placed properly, there wasn't enough light to see yourself properly and if one were to take a shower the entire room...

"I can highly recommend the Pheasant. The staff were excellent, the rooms were small but very well appointed, dinner menu was interesting and varied, breakfast was great. Location was perfect for Kielder Reservoir and in the middle of beautiful Northumberland countryside"
