"When I arrived at check in there were two police there with a barely dressed person whom they seemed to be checking out. Then social workers came in as well to deal with the situation. I don’t know what was going on but it made me concerned about the safety of the hotel for guests. The parking lot was in poor condition and the outdoor pool not just closed but scattered with debris. The room was clean enough but the halls and common areas seemed worn."

"The hotel was clean and exactly what I expected based on the positive reviews. I also understand that this is a new hotel so I expected it be clean and well maintained. When I booked the rate seemed reasonable. However, when I arrived at the hotel an additional amount was taken for the damage deposit, and the total charge did not match the rate I had been quoted. I later discovered that the quoted rate was in USD rather than Canadian dollars which was not clearly stated. I was disappointed...

"While the bed was clean the bathroom was disgusting. There was hair all over the floor when we arrived including the toilet. The room was im very rough shape alot of patchwork on walls of repairs unpainted. It was a large room which was nice and the AC was the best."

"Unique room with many pluses. If one was staying more than one night all dishes etc were available to cook. If 911 needed not sure how they would enter."

"It was a welcomed stay as both my husband and I really needed a night away to relax. The property is clean enough and I wouldn't be afraid to stay again, but let's say my house after a clean on Saturday is much cleaner. The owner wasn't going out of her way to accommodate but she was kind. The breakfast however is subpar, scrambled eggs with a heated frozen patty (undercooked) and a can of cocktail fruit in a bowl wasn't what I was hoping for in my bed and breakfast. "Everything about the Sir Isaac Brock was amazing! Beautiful and comfortable surroundings, delicious gourmet breakfast and fabulous hosts!! Everything is very walkable from this location with tons of character! Highly recommend!"

"I thought the property was great for the value. It was clean, and well prepared. Everything was very well thought out, and brillianty laid out. I misread that there was a children's pool and a beach, but there is a beautiful beach 1km away I would definitely stay here again. Oh and we relived our childhood experiences at Upper Canada Village."
